We opened this season on May 3rd, and our players have been thrilled with the course conditions. We've also made significant improvements to the Lake House, where the food has been receiving rave reviews. I invite you to come and experience it for yourself, either before or after your round. The Lake House lawn is one of the most enjoyable spots to savor a refreshing beverage!
Golf Digest ranked Grizzly Ranch among the Top 100 Courses in the nation! We're thrilled to have this recognition, as there are over 11,000 publicly accessible golf courses in the nation. That also puts us in the Top nine in California.

The Golf Club
Framed by the high desert and the million-acre Plumas National Forest, Grizzly Ranch welcomes guests to its semi-private course. Bob Cupp intricately designed this championship course which stretches more than 7,400 yards from tips, yet it has five sets of tees to accommodate every level of player.
The Club offers numerous fee options to accommodate individuals and groups such as single memberships, an 8-play pass, special spring and fall rates, and group rates in addition to twilight and NCGA member rates too.
Located less than an hour drive from both Reno and Truckee, along Highway 70, Grizzly Ranch is just minutes from Portola and Graeagle along with the Lake Davis Recreation Area and the scenic Feather River Canyon.
The Lake House
The Lake House, a true hidden Sierra gem, offers daily lunch service, a “sunken” full bar, beer on tap, and an open-air terrace overlooking the 18th green. It’s the perfect place to stop and end a day on the greens, or just drop-in for a simple bite to eat. Wide-screen televisions make it easy to watch your favorite sports game!
Free guest WiFi is available on-site at the Lake House.
